An excellent first experience with free flying is to take a flight with a tandem-rated instructor. With two separate harnesses attached just above the shoulders, you fly together under one wing. Depending on the conditions, you may have an opportunity to try out steering the paraglider. You get your first lesson on how a paraglider works: launching, landing, and controlling it in the air. Most importantly, you get to experience just how much fun it is to fly!
