BAPA Meeting (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM)
So we have a really interesting talk setup for the March 3rd BAPA meeting. Jim Chu will start things off by talking with us a bit about vol/biv trips he’s done and the equipment he used. Then we’ll have a group discussion about possible routes and a potential vol/biv weekend competition this summer. Please come! It should be great fun. 6:30 for the social hour and meeting starts at 7pm.

BAPA meetings are held bi-monthly:

* 7:00pm: Official BAPA Meeting

Wally has graciously agreed to host a free reserve clinic for our members. The clinic on March 27th at 9am. This is a great chance to practice reserve throws in a simulator being tossed and jossled in an attempt to refresh the muscle memory/decision making needed for a reserve throw.
There is a ground school at the start where Wally talks about how the reserve is constructed and when and how to throw, etc. Then everyone has several opportunities to throw.
Wally also brings dummy reserves that you can put in your harness to toss from the simulator so you can do multiple tosses. It is good to try tossing your own reserve (even if you tie it shut with a string if you don't want a repack).
Wally will be happy to repack reserves at his usual rate. You can leave your reserve with him at the end of the class and he'll have it ready in a few days.
The class will be held in Juan Laos' barn (thank you Juan!) in Moraga and we will start at 9AM sharp. T... Contact Info : Kevin Hester
