Time for BAPA elections. This year we've really embraced the bi-partisan approach, with several nominees choosing to share roles. As a result, all positions are currently unchallenged; however, write-in candidates are always allowed.
Please remember that casting a ballot shows these volunteers your support. Also, since you need to log in to submit your ballot, you can also renew your membership while you're here!

The current U.S. Presidental race will be a tough act to follow, but it's time for BAPA Officer Elections.
This year has been great for BAPA, with plenty of activities, fly-ins, interesting meeting presentations, and a minimum of administrative excitement. Now is the perfect time to step up for an officer position and keep the ball rolling.
If you are willing to spend a little time in 2009 helping to keep the club running smoothly please consider being nominated for the election. If you have questions about any of the positions, contact a current BAPA Officer for more information. Note that the positions are also described in the BAPA By-laws (although Director-at-Large has morphed into Activities Director).

Hello BAPA Members. Here's the official meeting announcement for November 5. The BAPA meeting will be held at the Summit Pointe Golf Club in Milpitas (refer to Club Meetings for directions).
The Social Half-hour starts at 6:30 p.m. - please come to eat dinner and socialize. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. - 2009 Officer nominations will take place at the meeting. Only nominees who agree to be nominated will be put on the ballot - if a nominee can't attend the meeting, please obtain permission from them to be put on the ballot.
We will also talk about the BAPA holiday party (coming up on December 13 at Tom's house) and other club business.
After the meeting, Nova will do a presentation on his acro adventures in Europe this past summer.
I look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
