Paragliding is still evolving as a sport. Safety awareness and knowledge are vital components for avoiding accidents. If you have a paragliding incident or accident, please help to raise the awareness of your fellow pilots by submitting an Accident Report to USHGA and BAPA.

In addition, if you are an eye witness to an accident or incident and you are not sure whether the pilot involved will submit a report, please fill in a report. It is better to have multiple reports on the same incident than none at all.

Please fill out the online Accident and Incident form listed below. The information in this form will be electronically submitted to the BAPA Safety Director and to USHGA. You will also receive a copy via email. The name of the pilot involved is kept confidential.

Note: you do NOT need to also fill out a USHGA accident form.
