Dunlap School LZ is now closed due to unauthorized landings during recent NorCal XC League events.
Jug Aggarwal reported on his XC League for 2009. He would like more pilots to attend future events and is seeking feedback on the league from participants.
Jug will be hosting the first portion of the 2009 US Paragliding National Championship at Dunlap on April 26-May 3. He is requesting help from those who can provide retrieve driving, wind techs, large radios.
Wayne has BAPA 2009 calendars in 3 sizes available for purchase.
- Wayne requests $220 for calendar work. MOTION APPROVED
- An additional $50 is allocated for a gift card for Wayne to be presented at the BAPA holiday party. MOTION APPROVED
Vice President Report:
Rolf Bienert reports that our BlipSpot has been down, but is now restored. BAPA gets one free year of BlipSPot for the inconvenience.
Treasurer Report:
Susan Kent is absent but reports $5,496 in the treasury.
Josh Cohn asked for contributions to the US National team going to Valle de Bravo for the World Championships in 2009.
- $325 matching contribution for US National Team MOTION APPROVED
- $400 for Holiday Party food and drinks, supplies MOTION APPROVED
Jeff Greenbaum asking for money to put edge protectors on pipe culverts at Dump – Walker’s launch.
- $70 allocated MOTION APPROVED
Josh Cohn brought up the idea of getting gifts for LZ landowners. No specifics worked out.
